The Executive Committee (Vestry) of Holy Cross Church is a governing body, that is responsible for managing the operational budget and ministry of the church. During the earlier years, the Trustees of Holy Cross formed an Executive Committee consisting of elected members from the congregation that managed the church operations. Our sister church, St. Mary's of Portsmouth, also had a similiar governing body affiliated with the leadership of their Trustees. An Executive Committee or Vestry as associated with a Parish, is responsible for the management of the church operations. |
