The Rev. Dwight C. Fortune

The Rev, Dwight C. Fortune was born in Fitchburg, MA and grew up in Fitchburg, Leominister and Lunenburg areas. He served as Lay Vicar of All Saint's, Whalon, Leominister and St. Simon and Cyranian, Sprinfield before and after duty with the 1st Marine Division in Korea.
He graduated from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University and was ordained in 1962. He then served as Curate at St. Peter's, Beverly, MA.
In 1965 he became Rector of St. John's Sharon and later St. John's, Taunton. While there he also worked in industry.
Retiring in 1989, he served as Interim at St. Thomas, Taunton and St. Martin's, Pawtucket, RI as well as supplying at various churches.
He has a total of 42 years of ministry srevice.
His interests are history, weather and walking.
